About  Ada Koch

‚ÄčArtist - I work daily at my studio, A Koch Studio, in the Livestock Exchange Building, West Bottoms arts district of Kansas City. Work can be purchased at the Leedy-Voulkos Gallery, Eva Reynolds Fine Art at Prairiefire, Art Source and Design, Buttonwood Gallery, Vanessa Lacy Gallery and the WWI Museum gift shop.

Painter- I specialize in oils, acrylics and mixed media works in a colorful representational style.  Subjects are often thematic for larger solo exhibitions, but I also paint commissions with still lifes, landscapes and portraits.  Art is in corporate and private collections throughout the world.

Educator - have taught at art institutions and schools throughout the area for over 20 years.  Currently teaching at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in KC, Eva Reynolds Fine Arts Gallery and the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum in Tucson, AZ.  Private lessons upon request.

What else? - am active with many local arts organizations, serving on boards and helping to raise money and increase membership.  Jury art events, help with local schools, illustrate books/covers, mentor new artists to the KC area, and stay busy....as artists have to do...

Where can I see the work? - individual studio tours can be arranged by appointment.  Art is available at Eva Reynolds Fine Art Gallery, Art Source & Design, Buttonwood Gallery, and Vanessa Lacy Gallery.
