About  Ada Koch

‚ÄčArtist - works daily at studio, A Koch Studio, in the Livestock Exchange Building, West Bottoms arts district of Kansas City. Work can be purchased at the Leedy-Voulkos Gallery, Eva Reynolds Fine Art at Prairiefire, Art Source and Design, Buttonwood Gallery, Vanessa Lacy Gallery and the WWI Museum gift shop.

Painter- specializes in oils, acrylics and mixed media works in a colorful representational style.  Subjects are often thematic for larger solo exhibitions, but also paints commissions with still lifes, landscapes and portraits.  Art is in corporate and private collections throughout the world. 

Educator - has taught at art institutions and schools throughout the area for over 20 years.  Currently teaching at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in KC and the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum in Tucson, AZ.  Private lessons upon request. 

What else? - is active with many local arts organizations, serving on boards and helping to raise money and increase membership.  Juries art events, helps with local schools, illustrates books/covers, mentors new artists to the KC area, and stays busy....as artists have to do...

Where can I see the work? - individual studio tours can be arranged by appointment.  Art is available at Eva Reynolds Fine Art Gallery, Art Source & Design, Buttonwood Gallery, and Vanessa Lacy Gallery.  

Be sure to stop by the WWI Museum in KC to see the latest installation in the front lobby and find items for sale in the gift shop.  Work will be there through the winter holidays.
